Principal Designer Plus Service
PD Plus is designed for projects that need deeper, more proactive Principal Designer involvement than the essentials covered in PD Core. It supports schemes with multiple disciplines, higher‑risk activities, tighter programmes, or clients who expect stronger coordination and clearer oversight throughout design and pre‑construction.
What PD Plus Includes
Full CDM 2015 compliance management — ensuring duties, appointments, and arrangements are robust, documented, and actively monitored.
Structured design risk management — discipline‑by‑discipline reviews, coordinated risk workshops, and clear tracking of assumptions, hazards, and residual risks.
Enhanced design team coordination — regular meetings, targeted interventions, and clear communication to keep designers aligned and accountable.
PCI creation or full enhancement — producing a complete, modern, project‑specific PCI pack that supports informed planning and tendering.
Construction readiness assurance — detailed review of CPP, RAMS, sequencing, and control measures to ensure alignment with design intent and project risks.
Client reporting and assurance — concise updates, risk summaries, and clear evidence of compliance for governance or audit requirements.
Letter of Adequacy — included as standard where required.
When PD Plus Is the Right Fit
Medium‑scale residential, commercial, or mixed‑use projects
Multi‑disciplinary design teams with complex interfaces
Projects involving higher‑risk activities or constrained sites
Clients who want stronger oversight, clearer reporting, and more structured risk management
Pricing starts from £5500.00
